NASCAR Rule Changes in the 2010 Sprint Cup Series
There are major rule changes this year in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heading into this season.
The changes involve bump drafting and restrictor plates. NASCAR is essentially going to let the drivers drive and control the race again. It is getting rid of bump draft rules so the drivers can race again. These rules will take effect at Daytona and Talladega Super Speedway.
Teams will have the option of a bigger restrictor plate as well. This will give more power to the car. A rear spoiler will be added to the car as the wing will be gone. This will bring back the exciting old style of racing. It will give big advantages to a few drivers that use this style of racing. Other drivers will feel the results.
The great drivers will rise to the occasion and some drivers will be replaced. Nascar had to make some changes to eliminate parody in drivers. These new rule changes should add a lot of excitement to the world of Nascar. Rubbing is racing and it is part of the history of racing. You rub on the dirt track and all the way up. It is time to put it back in at the top level of racing.
