Shelby 427 takes over Las Vegas
The Sprint Cup Series will continue at the end of this month with the Shelby American Nascar race. This is one of the most anticipated races of the year, and is sure to live up to the hype. It takes place in the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas, and should be a must for any Nascar fan. The Las Vegas Motor Speedway has been known to be one of the premier venues for these races.
One of the main attractions of the evening will come when Nascar introduces this event’s pace car, the 2011 Shelby GT350. It will be the first time that the car will be shown to the public at full speed, and the first time that Nascar has allowed a Shelby GT350 to headline an event. The Shelby GT350 is based off of a Mustang and is designed to be very powerful and nimble.
Aside from the introduction of this supercharged automobile, this race will also be Danica Patrick‘s debut into Nascar. This has been a popular topic lately, to speculate how a female driver will do among the best of the best. It is sure to be a must see event, and will likely be full of surprises.
Any race fans that show up early on Feb. 28 will also be able to see the quartet Human Nature perform. This group is from Australia and will perform some of Motown’s greatest songs prior to the race starting. So don’t forget to check out the NASCAR betting odds for this great event.
