Jeff Gordon
Jeff Gordon was predicted to come into the season as one of the top drivers in the league, but has been fairly disappointing to many so far. He currently sits in 7th place in the points standings for the league.
Gordon has won the points standings 5 times in his career so far and has only finished outside of the top 10 in the points standings one time since the 1994 season, making him one of the most consistent drivers in the history of NASCAR and lots of sports betting blogs.
The last two years Gordon has struggled to win races. After having multiple wins in every year following 1993, Gordon has won just one race over the past two seasons.
Gordon started the season poorly. After having poor starting positions in his first two races Gordon was not able to recover and finished in the 20’s in both of those races. Gordon has since turned it on and found more consistency as his team has been able to do better in getting a solid starting position.
Gordon has finished in the top 15 in 3 of the last 4 races including two 3rd place finishes so far. Gordon is a NASCAR legend and has the reputation and ability to turn things around and jump back into the mix of things. If his crew can continue to put solid cars onto the track for him you can expect Gordon to find his way back into the top 5 of the points standings again.
